Barbara is an experienced business advisor, executive coach and career management specialist working across private and public sectors. She specialises in organisation and people development and regularly works with senior executives, helping them to meet their objectives and address work/life transition issues and organisational change.
Barbara also consults on people issues surrounding merger and acquisition, including organisation culture analysis, developing vision and values, teambuilding, personal ownership of change and stress management.
In her consulting work she has particular interest in using high energy learning techniques to aid personal development and explore the links between emotional intelligence and leadership behaviour.
Prior to leading consulting projects, Barbara led KPMG's career consulting practice in the North of England. Her early career was in teaching and sales and marketing. She is also a trained counsellor, facilitator and coach. Barbara is qualified to use a range of psychometric tools.

Over the last six months she has led a privately sponsored project to explore a cascaded leadership development model to promote the development of leaders in all walks of life. Barbara is a trustee of the Community Foundation for Wakefield District.
