Nick Paterson

Nick is a recent addition to our consulting associates. He is an HR generalist with experience of training and developing employee’s and managers to lead and drive change in complex businesses. He has an MA in Personnel and Development and a first degree in Psychology. He is also a chartered member of the CIPD. He brings an up to date, innovative approach to the development of consulting services, embracing leading edge technology as well as first class people development skills.

He has in-depth experience of cutting edge human resource practice and procedure and is skilled in the delivery of Outsourced HR services. His experience was gained as an HR lead for Accenture (Enterprise) where his team was responsible for multiple business process outsourced clients across the UK.

He designed and delivered people management skills training and managed reorganisation processes for large numbers of staff as a result of “off shoring” initiatives to India, Prague and Northern Ireland. He has taken part in individual and collective consultation and negotiation with employees involving the resolution of complex people management issues through transition and reorganisation.  

As a member of the internal consultancy change team for a major financial services organisation, he has knowledge and experience of delivering consultancy services to HR professionals and senior managers implementing change within complex international organisations.

Change management consulting assignments have included workshop facilitation, coaching line managers, communication strategies, using effective technology, legal advice, computer based training creation and risk management.

Nick enhances and supports the existing consultancy team by adding a practical and hands on approach to change delivery.

His most recent experience is as the project manager for a team of HR and change specialists delivering a reorganisation of a major hotel group across the UK. Activities have included, training managers to deliver change, calculating employee redundancy packages, and individual counselling.
